The Ezeedrone Increased Absorption Synthetic Bass Drone Reed is designed to produce a sound which is practically indiscernible from traditional cane reeds. This translates to a very full and steady drone sound with strong harmonics to accompany the chanter.
Ezeedrone reeds are manufactured to a very high level of precision and are subjected to rigorous quality checks prior to distribution. The player will find that they adjust very easily and require very little maintenance. They have easy-to-use tuning screws and rubber band bridles which allows for better acceptance in a wider range of pipes.
A long bass reed will allow you to tune the drones at a lower position. This is particularly useful for newer sets of bagpipes.
