How can I track the status of my order?+−

What if I want to order something that is not in stock? How long will it take to get in?+−

This will depend on the item and can range from 3-8 weeks.

How long do I have to return or exchange a product? +−

Highland Dance

Are your dancer’s outfits made to the regulations of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing? +−

Yes, absolutely.

Can I order a made-to-measure dancer’s kilt? How long will this take to make? +−

Yes! All our kilts are made-to-measure in Scotland and usually shipped to the customer in 6–8 weeks depending upon the availability of the tartan.

How do I take measurements for a jacket? +−

Never measure snug and always allow a bit of ease (“two fingers in the tape measure”) Please advise if you wish to allow additional ease/growing room (.5”, 1” etc.) or whether it should be made to your exact measurements. A measurement form is available and should be completed for all custom orders.

How do I take measurements for dance shoes? +−

We do not recommend sending tracings of feet via fax as the size of the image can often alter in transmission. Please use the specifications tab under dance shoes as a guide. You can also forward length of foot and desired fit to us which can help in the selection of the proper size.

HIGHLAND DRESS

I want to buy a kilt, what tartans and weights can I choose from? How long will it take to make? +−

Hundreds of tartans are available. We recommend that a man’s kilt be not less than 13 oz. worsted wool. The greater number of tartans are available in 16 oz. heavy worsted. Average time for kilts is 6-8 weeks.

I want to purchase a full outfit. What do I need to buy? +−

A full highland outfit consists of the following: Ghillie brogues (shoes), hose, flashes, a kilt, sporran, belt, vest or jacket (or both), and tie. There are also various accessories that can be added to make your highland dress outfit unique. We sell all of these items separately or as a complete package in our Highland Dress category.
