The Canning Blue Drone Reeds are made using a new body material that provides increased vibrancy and brightness. Volume is also slightly increased in most sets of pipes. The reed body does not absorb any moisture so can be very quickly and easily dried off during longer playing sessions, therefore extending your playing time.
Canning Blue Drone Reeds are steady, easy to strike in and tune, air efficient, and have exceptional tonal quality. In addition, each set of reeds are personally tested by Ryan before they are sold.
They have easy-to-use pitch screw adjusters, plastic tongues (carbon fibre bass) and rubber band bridles.
