Rest in Peace: Heather Jolley
Tartantown is saddened to lose its founder, Heather Jolley. Heather was the creator and mastermind who started our business from humble beginnings in her basement in 1976. We then quickly became a brick and mortar store in 1977.
Heather's leadership, character, quick wit, and vision were legendary around the business. That, along with her sense of family and fun, will be missed.
Always larger than life and a big-idea person, Heather didn't bother with all the details to slow her down. I will never forget when she had me investigate a larger internet presence and full e-commerce expansion. I returned with a recommendation and a very large quote for her. Heather just said, "It will all be the same five years from now... go for it!"
We will carry on in her honour.
